Simrad's Precision-9 Compass delivers heading and rate-of-turn information to Simrad autopilot, radar and navigational systems using an NMEA 2000 connection. The compass' solid-state sensor array measures motion on nine axes to calculate accurate navigational information. Once calibrated, Precision-9 offers heading accuracy of +/- 2 degrees with a pitch-and-roll range of +/- 45 degrees. Measuring 4.69 inches across and 1.42 inches tall, the compact compass comes with an adjustable mounting bracket and costs $645.
