Caymas—a relatively new brand established by an old hand, marine-industry veteran Earl Bentz—builds freshwater bass boats and inshore and offshore saltwater-fishing boats.

The saltwater boats are designed with Michael Peters’ patented Stepped-Vee Ventilated Tunnel hull, which is 15-percent faster than a comparable V-hull, the company says, with a softer, drier ride.

Caymas hybrid boats blend bay-boat and center-console attributes for shallow- and offshore-fishing adventures. Its center-console models are created for the hardcore fisherman but with family-friendly seating and layout. Caymas conducts an 86-point checklist on every boat before it leaves the factory.
