Parker Boats says its new 26 SH (Special Hybrid) takes the company’s slogan of “Traditions Continue” and evolves it into “Traditions Refined.” That means the 26 SH embodies a time-tested design as well as precise improvements that keep the customer in mind, Parker says.

Company engineers spent two years creating this hybrid bay boat that promises to take you inshore, offshore and to the sandbar. The 26 SH offers ample fishing space fore (with an 8-foot-6-inch-wide platform) and aft, twin 30-gallon recirculating livewells, four rocket launchers, a 37-gallon fish box, lockable storage, multiple rod holders, trim tabs, jack plate, and a trolling-motor pre-rig.

For the family, Parker provides padded seating and cupholders throughout, a standard Fusion stereo with six speakers, and a freshwater washdown.

Performance testing by our sister brand Boating shows that the 26 SH with a Yamaha F300 (standard power) reached a top speed of 46.3 mph, turning 6,000 rpm, for 1.73 mpg. At a cruising speed of 26.2 mph, turning 3,500 rpm, the boat achieved 2.82 mpg for a range of 246 miles.
