Designed for any size boat, Shakespeare’s Stream uses cell‑booster technology to amplify weak cell signals in popular boating areas, enabling anglers to use their data plans to create a local hotspot on a phone or tablet. “The industry is flooded with satellite and Wi-Fi options that either don’t meet the budget of your average boater or are too slow,” says Shakespeare’s Bill Eastwood. “Now that many people have unlimited data plans for their cell phones, the simplest and most effective solution” is a booster like the Stream. The Stream costs $799 and is compatible with most major cellular providers.
