Garmin has released a new line of chart plotter and sonar combination units, called echoMAP CHIRP, which come with built-in CHIRP, traditional sonar, and CHIRP DownVü and SideVü. The new units also feature pre-loaded coastal charts and Garmin’s new Quickdraw Contours, a software feature that lets anglers create personalized HD fishing maps with 1-foot contours on any water body. Available in 4-, 5-, 7- and 9-inch color displays with keyed interfaces, echoMAP CHIRP units support Panoptix transducers and are NMEA 2000-compatible. Prices range from $299.99 to $1,259.99.
