Midnight Express has introduced a 39-foot center-console powered by the first-ever set of triple 557 hp V8 outboard motors built by Seven Marine. Seven first introduced prototypes of these powerful engines — which use Cadillac CTS-V blocks — to the public during the 2011 Miami International Boat Show.

Midnight Express, based in Hollywood, Florida, gave the vessel a matte-black finish and carbon-fiber upholstery material. The outboards, combined with a bow thruster, provide omni-directional joystick maneuvering in close quarters. No word yet on a top-end speed, although Sport Fishing editors should be aboard in the near future for a test run.
