Carolina Skiff proclaims its boats to be “the most durable, versatile and affordable…on the market,” with more standard features than most, yielding a tremendous value for every boating family looking for an extension of their boating lifestyle.

They’re virtually indestructible and consequently among most-commonly-seen brands nearly everywhere, and among those most represented in our survey.

A Solid Fiberglass construction produces, durable, non-flexing and wood-free Carolina Skiff hulls, now warranteed with a 10 year structural hull warranty, in addition to a 5 year limited bow to stern warranty.

The Ultra Elite Series -expanded its lineup with the all new 26 Ultra Elite. Ready for family fishing, tubing, and other watersports along with cruising -inshore, offshore, in the bays—and don’t forget large rivers and lakes, this boat does it all. Versatility, says the company, is the hallmark of Ultra Elites.

26 Ultra Elite

Largest in the series, the new Carolina Skiff 26 Ultra Elite comes standard with a step-in console with a port-a-potty, lockable storage, rear jump seats, self bailing deck, stainless steel hardware, rod holders, and U-shaped bow seating with drop-in table (36 percent of respondents say they need bow seating).

Like its Ultra Elite slip-mates, the 26 has lockable console doors, full instrumentation, and quick-disconnect windshield for easy storage. Also standard are plenty of LED illumination, high--capacity bilge pumps and high-speed water pickups, premium gelcoats, and fully molded liners with nonskid surface.

Standard fishing features include an aerated livewell (meeting the needs of 63 percent of respondents; an optional leaning post’s 32-gallon livewell satisfies nearly all of the rest), and an insulated aft fish box. A dozen undergunwale racks alone meet the needs of all but 20 percent of CC survey respondents.

Anglers might eye options such as a trolling-motor panel, additional gunwale-mounted rod holders (to please the 70 percent of CC respondents who said four rod holders, the 26 Ultra Elite’s standard, aren’t quite enough), and a 6-inch hydraulic jack plate.

Comfort and entertainment options include canvas Bimini or T-top, stereo, electric flushable head, freshwater tank with shower nozzle, and raw-water washdown. Pick from nine hull colors to create your dream boat.
