If getting away for a fishing adventure is what you’re all about, the islands of the Southern Bahamas offer world-class fishing in some of the most picturesque waters in the world. Hurricane Joaquin, a category 4 storm with winds in excess of 150 mph, hit these islands extremely hard last fall. The signs of the destructive storm are evident from both the airplane and spending time on each of the island, but the people here are happy, businesses and homes are being rebuilt, and most importantly, the fish are biting better than ever.
