Some kids get all the luck. On his first offshore-fishing trip ever, 13-year-old Will Kilpatrick scored an offshore grand slam — a blue marlin, white marlin and sailfish — according to a report on The News & Observer’s website.

The site reported that Will earned the trip by making good grades last year. The youngster fished aboard a private boat out of Hatteras, North Carolina, on June 22. The group made about a three-hour run, then caught dolphin and an estimated 200- to 250-pound blue marlin, and then hooked four whites at the same time. They landed and released three fish when two sailfish arrived to join the party.

So … What’s Will going to do on his second trip?
