The Seaqualizer
The SeaQualizer made its debut at ICAST six years after its initial release. It’s an innovative fish-release tool designed to help fish recover from the effects of barotrauma. Barotrauma results from bringing a fish up from depth too quickly preventing it from releasing air from its air bladder quick enough as pressure on it is decreased. This causes the air bladder to expand beyond its normal size.
To combat barotrauma, the SeaQualizer attaches to a fishing rod or retrieval line and releases the barotrauma stricken fish at a predetermined depth. Each salt-water model has three depth settings to choose from — 30 feet, 50 feet or 70 feet for the shallow modell 50 feet, 100 feet or 150 feet for the standard model; and & 100 feet, 200 feet or 300 feet for the deep model.

The air-tight closure makes the bag waterproof and keeps moisture, and many other outdoor intruders, out. The tough exterior fabric makes it durable to last many trips and the straps make it easy to haul or drag on the dock — or even chuck on or off your boat.
Anglers can choose from three sizes — 50, 75 and 100.
