Garmin‘s new Striker-series entry-level multifunction displays feature CHIRP traditional sonar and a high-sensitivity GPS receiver. Select versions can be ordered with CHIRP DownVü scanning sonar or SideVü scanning for seeing structure up to 750 feet from each side of the boat. Available with 3.5-, 5- or 7-inch color displays, Strikers employ a keyed interface and come with a built-in GPS antenna and waypoint map, as well as trolling-motor and transom-mount transducers. They cost $119.99 to $499.99.
