Costa won the 2015 ICAST international tackle trade show award for Best Eyewear with its Rooster frames (see “New Products,” June), but it also showcased its Kick Plastic campaign, launched this year to educate customers about the growing ocean-trash issue, and to encourage them to kick the plastic habit. To further the message, the company created a line of T-shirts made from 50 percent polyester, comprising recycled bottles and plastics, and 50 percent organic cotton. The two designs come in three heathered colors and in sizes S to XXL. They cost $34.
