Shimano says that, using its Spiral-X and Hi-Power X technologies, it has created the lightest, most powerful rod ever in the newly redesigned Terez lineup. The 12 casting, nine spinning and two rail rods feature EVA grips and custom aluminum reel seats matched with Fuji BKW alconite guides. The rods range in length from 6 feet, 6 inches to 7 feet, 2 inches, and offer fast or extra fast actions (casting and spinning) and moderately fast action for the rail rods. The casting and spinning models cost $279.99; the rail rods cost $399.99.
