Fischer Panda now offers the Panda 5000 and 15K Mini DP AC marine diesel generators. Targeting powerboats in the 33- to 45-foot range, Fischer Panda says the 5000 will provide more power to run onboard AC equipment without the need to power-manage. The relatively compact 15K DP provides an option for boats on which more power is needed in tight spaces. It relies on the fresh-water-cooled Kubota 902 three-cylinder diesel engine, while the Panda 5000 features the new Kubota twin-cylinder engine. The Panda 5000 costs $11,995, and the 15K costs $19,950.
