Rabid fishermen may have difficulty understanding, but numbers don’t lie. Dual-console fishing boats like Robalo’s new R247 sell really well! And Robalo’s version has some unique features found only on the 247. For example, an optional double-wide guest seat swivels to face forward, athwartship or aft so you can keep track of your trolling spread. And you’ll find tons  of storage: under all the forward seating, in the ski locker (which doubles as a rod locker for those in denial), under the deck on centerline and in the console. Other exclusive features include an electric grill, a wet bar, a dining table, a foldaway transom seat, insulated fish boxes aft as well as in the port and starboard casting decks, a livewell, tubed rod storage, a custom tackle center and a wide selection of custom tops and even towers!

Obviously, every dual console is designed with family in mind. The 247 hides a number of family-friendly traits: a freshwater shower and a large head with a toilet  roomy enough to perform double duty as a changing room. Want to dress it up even more? Add Corian counters, a teak-and-holly sole, a sink and real-wood cabinets.

The helm station boasts Yamaha controls and gauges, including fuel     management, as well as a large space to mount an integrated navigation electronics display. In fact, Robalo offers an optional electronics package that includes downrigger power outlets, Sirius satellite  weather via a full Raymarine E-series navigation suite and Raymarine VHF.

And lest you think Robalo will love and leave you, each 247 comes with a 10-year hull warranty.
