Shockwave predicts that within five years all recreational boats will come with suspension seating — just like cars. The company’s S5 Marine Suspension Module can be installed in virtually any boat. The S5 is made from high-pressure die-cast-aluminum components with 316 stainless-steel hardware. The unit weighs 20 pounds, and comes with a military-spec powdercoat finish and a fully adjustable shock absorber. Suspension travel is 4 inches vertical and 1½ inches forward. Available in black or white, the S5 costs $999.
