St. Croix Avid Surf Rods
St. Croix’s new 11-model series of Avid surf rods are built on high-modulus SCIII graphite blanks, using the company’s proprietary Integrated Poly Curve tooling technology. All two‑piece models feature offset, slim ferrules. They all come with Fuji K-Series Concept guides with Alconite rings and black frames, Fuji MN-style tops, Fuji DPS reel seats, and custom cork-tape handles. Eight spinning models range in length from 7 to 12 feet and in power from medium-light to heavy; three casting models (medium to heavy power) measure 10 to 12 feet. Prices range from $230 to $380.
