Holland, Michigan-based Tiara is a well-established luxury cruising brand, but it has fishing chops, too, now offering an adventure module and other angling amenities on its outboard-powered Luxury Sport and Luxury Express series.

The Adventure Module option replaces items in standard aft seating with rod holders, a transom livewell and additional work surfaces. Tiara’s founder Leon Slikkers’s passion for creating visually stunning, comfortable, technologically advanced yachts is carried on by three more generations of the Slikkers family who continue to build boats. Tiara was acknowledged in the Manufacturing Process/Supply Chain category of the 2025 IBEX EPIC Awards, recognizing innovation and impact on the industry, local communities and the global marketplace.

Tiara 56 LS

Everything about the new Tiara 56 LS is massive, from its 16-foot beam to its grid-reinforced composite transom that’s home to the stunningly powerful foursome of Mercury 600 hp Verado V-12 outboards.

It’s big in features and comforts, too. A full-beam fiberglass hardtop has an integrated visor and a Webasto electrically actuated sunroof. A retractable electric Makefast sunshade deploys to cover the full cockpit with Sunsilk fabric.

The aft cockpit offers a choice of buffet lounge or—to the point of fishability—an Adventure Module with rigging surface, sink, cutting board and storage. There’s also a freezer box, 59-gallon livewell, eight rod holders, electric grill, freshwater wash-down, storage boxes, accent lighting and a fold-down seat with a backrest.

Cockpit in-floor storage/fish boxes have macerators. Optional and upgrade items include outriggers, additional rod holders, Seakeeper gyro, ElectroSea strainers, additional synthetic teak decking, and forward shore power.

The boat’s interior offers eloquent luxury, with architectural teak and sound-deadening insulation, atrium, master stateroom with private head, and guest stateroom with access to a day head. Each stateroom has its own air conditioning unit.

Electronics are controlled by a custom Garmin Empirbus digital switching system. A 13.5kW diesel generator provides power at sea, and a 24-volt battery bank handles house, engine and bow-thruster duties. It comes pre-wired for Starlink. The Tiara integrated electronics package includes displays, transducer, VHF radio, open array radar, cockpit camera and more.

Editor’s Tip

During my time aboard the Tiara 56 LS, this boat proved eminently fishable thanks to the huge aft cockpit that accommodates a full crew of anglers whether trolling or wreck fishing. This complements Tiara’s Adventure Module option on the 56 LS. -Jim Hendricks
