Just how serious about fishing are you? Are you a fair-weather fun guy or a foul-weather fishing fanatic? If you’re the latter, then this may be your boat. It’s unsinkable, incredibly seaworthy, smooth-riding in any condition and indestructible. Warm climes may prefer the open center-console version while everyone else probably will choose one of the über-comfortable pilothouse models.
We fished this particular model – the 30-foot Extreme Sport – in Ketchikan, Alaska, and found virtually every wind/sea condition during our stay. The pilothouse, warmed or cooled by reverse-cycle air conditioning, provided us with shelter from the cold and rain, a shock-absorbing helmseat, a huge berth with a small head and plenty of settee space for passengers to relax between fishing spots. At the fishing locations, this boat trolled perfectly with a ton and a half of cockpit space for six or more anglers to work at once.

But if you find true beauty in pure purpose, if you love a manly boat that will do anything you ever ask of them without question, look no further. For sheer seaworthy brawn, I defy you to find a better boat.
