VIDEO: More Yellowfin Tuna Action in Panama’s Gulf of Chiriqui

Bait balled so thick, it looks like you could walk over it, with big tunas darting and swirling just below

Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water — here comes yet another wild yellowfin tuna video from the folks at Propiedad de Paradise Lodge in Panama.

The first video we shared, shot near Isla Paridas, was impressive enough. But this time, the crew finds a giant pod of blue runners and goggle eyes hanging around a large floating log some 19 miles out in the Gulf of Chiriqui. Mixed in are porpoises, birds and many hollering anglers. Things really get interesting at about 2:20, as the boat hovers directly over the bait, which is balled so thick, it looks like you could walk over it, with big tunas darting and swirling just below.
