Roy McSwain and Mike Holmes freely and proudly admit their company, Pioneer Boats, is not the industry’s biggest. But they’ve launched more than 3,000 hulls, standing behind each of them with customer service that fosters both pride and loyalty.

Pioneer makes its boats with biaxial, quadaxial and iso-based resin/gelcoat systems, cored with structural PVC materials: no wood (or rot) here. Ninety percent of hull and deck voids are foam-filled, to far exceed U.S. Coast Guard flotation requirements. The boats carry a seven-year transferable warranty, and lifetime original-owner structural hull warranty. Tinned wiring, stainless fasteners and through-hulls, and quality vinyl mean the boats will last.

An 18-gallon livewell with sea chest is ready for your catch. Framing gunwale rod-rack recesses port and starboard are toe rails and side bolster cushions, enabling secure fish fighting and gaffing. Forward are a pair of insulated fish boxes.

Generous seating includes cushioned bow seats, a full transom seat, and bolsters around the entire cockpit.

Add family-pleasing options: freshwater or raw-water washdown, swim platform, ski tows, stereo systems, pump-out head. Angler? Consider a recirculating livewell or second 18-gallon livewell. Either side of the aisle might vote for a Bimini top, T-top or deluxe hardtop.
