Maybe you have no idea where (or what) Kiribati is. Perhaps you’ve heard of it by its sometimes-name of Christmas Island. Think roughly between Hawaii and Fiji. But the bottom line for anglers is that it’s pretty much in the middle of the Pacific, a remote, undisturbed tropical realm of atolls and aggressive game fish, including bonefish on the flats and giant trevally on the reefs. That’s what SF contributor Andreas Knausenberger, who specializes in worldwide fishing expeditions, discovered while leading a recent adventure to Kiribati. He shares this exclusive 2 1/2-minute video with SF enthusiasts.
