Recently we stumbled across a video of an exhilarating fight with a mako shark. Angler Alex Beck, along with Capt. Mark Martin, hooked this monster on a fly during the Flying Mako Shark Tournament out of Mission Bay, California. The monster mako was estimated to be a whopping 10 feet and weigh 800 pounds!
Mako sharks are known for their incredible toughness and acrobatic abilities. This video illustrates these traits: Witness the fish taking incredible leaps and listen to the line screaming off the reel. You can truly feel the excitement that the fishing team is having. Enjoy!
