For spring, Columbia debuts the men’s Airgill Chill LongSleeve and the women’s Ultimate Chill Hybrid LongSleeve shirts. Both feature a new technology called Omni-Freeze ICE for sweat-activated cooling. Columbia says that as soon as moisture hits the fabric, the fabric’s temperature lowers for an immediate cooling effect. Both shirts also provide UPF 30 sun protection; the women’s nylon Hybrid also stretches. The Airgill Chill ($110) comes in white, mirage and firefly, and in sizes S to XXL.
