Popping Madagascar for Huge Giant Trevally

Heart-pumping action off remote eastern Africa for adventurous anglers throwing poppers and stickbaits

Big, hungry predators patrol the waters around the vast east African island of Madagascar. Andreas Knausenberger at Andrees Expeditions shares another video with SF enthusiasts. Among many game fishes that attack poppers and stickbaits here, giant trevally are the main target, with fish up to an estimated 120 pounds released. If this looks like something you need to do, "We have one more trip to Madagascar this year, scheduled for November," says Knausenberger.
