Italian Rap Song Highlights Guatemala Fishing

Italian music artists Mr. Postman and Reshmi have a hit song with "Before the Baktun."

Sport Fishing contributor Antonio Varcasia recently helped produce a music video with Italian musical artists Mr. Postman and Reshmi. The music hit describes a fishing journey to Guatemala last year. Entitled “Before the Baktun,” the song covers target species like snook, tarpon and sailfish, fishing tackle, and the scenic waters of Guatemala. As odd as it seems, the song works with its catchy, reggaeton sound. And if you’re wondering, a baktun is a Mayan unit of measurement equal to about 144,000 days, or about 394 years.
