Australia's Coral Sea
Similarly spectacular take-no-prisoners popping awaits for those venturing into Australia's Coral Sea with its innumerable passes creating steep, current-swept walls through the massive barrier reef and bommies (coral heads the size of a small warehouse). The same bad boys of the reefs as in New Cally wait here to pounce on poppers. Many more fishing operations and charters will be found here than in New Caledonia, but none has made itself as synonymous with popping the Coral Sea as Capt. Damon Olsen's Nomad operation.
