Fly anglers may know Belize from top to bottom, but inshore conventional fishermen seemingly have yet to discover the bay flats of the Port Honduras Marine Reserve off Punta Gorda in the far southern reaches of this lush country. Editor Chris Woodward traveled to "PG" last week to glimpse the opportunities and came back with tales of permit, bonefish and snook as well as cacao farms, Mayan ruins and cave rivers. Check out her photo gallery and stay tuned for the feature article coming up in a 2010 issue of Sport Fishing.
