Grab Bag
By placing some 3-inch-diameter, 8-inch-long PVC tubes inside an inexpensive canvas tote bag, all my tools stand upright and remain well organized.
Feb 8, 2008

Having all the tools you need at your fingertips makes things easier when multiple rods bend at the same time. We all have our own system for organizing pliers, line cutters, hook removers, BogaGrips, scales, knives, gloves, safety strobe signal lights, etc. But when fishing gets busy, it seems like I can never remember where I laid a particular tool, or it winds up at the other end of the boat when I need it.

So I came up with a simple way to solve this problem. By placing some 3-inch-diameter, 8-inch-long PVC tubes inside an inexpensive canvas tote bag, all my tools stand upright and remain well organized. I can easily grab the bag to move it, use the tools and replace them.
