Shark Leader Storage

Here is an easy, dry storage idea for multiple shark leaders.

Though stainless-steel leader material resists corrosion, hooks and crimps rust. An easy way to store heavy, springy shark leaders is to use a flat, circular, snap-lid food storage container about 6 inches in diameter.
By carefully depositing coiled leaders, one atop the other, you can hold six to eight leaders in a container - and remove them in reverse order without tangling.
Store leaders clean and dry, but if you can't always completely dry them after washing, drill small holes in the container lid to allow residual moisture to escape.
