SeaWitch Storage

A short piece of garden hose can become safe storage for your SeaWitch lures.

One of the most productive baits for kingfish, wahoo, dolphin and tuna, the SeaWitch (or similar lead-and-hair lures) can be difficult to store without the hair matting or tangling with other rigs.
A 6-inch piece of old garden hose makes a great inexpensive storage compartment for these rigs. Just slip the SeaWitch into the hose and seal each end with a cork. Since it's a good idea to have several colors available and ready to put on your leaders, use a permanent marker to identify which color you have in each tube. These hose tubes keep a SeaWitch's hair neat, straight and ready to go.
