Make a quick squid rig with a snap swivel, 1/2-inch stainless-steel washer, hook (size depends on squid), cable and crimps: Crimp one end of the cable to the hook and the other to the washer, then clip on the snap swivel. Pull the rig inside the squid with a rigging needle, thread the hook through the head and attach the swivel to your leader. The washer keeps the squid from bunching up on the hook when trolled.
