Night Light For Your Cork Float

Use a chemical light to keep track of your floats during night fishing.

When live-baiting with pinfish or crabs for tarpon at night, I use a cork float, 100-pound leader and a 6/0 live-bait hook. However, instead of locking the line with an ordinary pin inside the float, I use a chemical light of about the same diameter as the pin. This glowing stick lets me see where the floats are (useful in preventing crossed lines when fishing several rods from a boat), and makes bites immediately visible (especially useful when a fish swims toward the boat).
