Banana River Bag

Now fish stay alive in the floating bag and don't get underfoot.

When I used to wade-fish with my wife and friends in the Banana River, I would keep our fish on a stringer until we were ready to head home. However, the stringer often wrapped around my legs. My wife suggested a floating mesh bag on a long tether. We bought a small-mesh laundry bag with a drawstring closure at the drug store for about $2, put an empty plastic 2-liter bottle into the bag and tied a 10-foot line to the cinched opening. Now fish stay alive in the floating bag and don't get underfoot.
