Corpus Christi, Texas, USA, angler Scott Lindner is waiting to hear if he has a new IGFA All-Tackle record after landing a striped mullet (Mugil cephalus) on March 13, weighing in at 4.71kg (10 lb 6 oz). Using a Bass Assassin it took him six minutes to land while fishing Upper Laguna Madre, Texas. The current IGFA record is 7 lb 10 oz (3.45 kg) caught in 2004 from California's Buena Vista Lagoon.
