SAVANNAH, GA, February 3, 2006- The fourth annual Savannah International Boat Show will be held February 24-26, at the Savannah International Trade & Convention Center and in-water on the Savannah River. Hundreds of powerboats, sailboats and yachts will be on display inside the Trade Center, the outside grounds, as well as on 2,000 feet of dock space.

This is the largest annual indoor and in-water Boat Show between North Carolina and North Florida. The Show will feature more than 85 different boat lines and more than 100 exhibitors selling marine products, accessories and services. When the Show started in 2003, it featured 50 different boat lines and 75 exhibitors. It continues to grow both in the number of displays and attendance with more than 10,000 people expected again this year.

"In order to grow the in-water portion of the Show, we have connected temporary docks to the Westin Harbor Resort's docks, increasing the number of boats that can be displayed on the water," said Show Producer, Jacqui McGuinness.

The Show's growth can be attributed to many factors, including the unique ability to showcase boats both in a convention center, along with in-water on the Savannah River; the professionalism of the management; the considerable marketing dollars expended; the educational and entertainment elements; and the fact that it's located in a beautiful, historic city.

The Savannah International Boat Show will offer live entertainment including Band in The Park and the Bucky & Barry Band; caricaturist, Eric Grady; and Tony Ryals, a paraplegic artist, well know for his message of hope. Fishing seminars and demonstrations will be presented by top local and regional fishing captains throughout the Show. JBM & Associates, the Show's producer and Cumulus Broadcasting have joined forces to present the "Red Neck Yacht Contest." The grand prize is a 16' Carolina Skiff J-16 from Lockwood Marine in Townsend, GA. Country music star Craig Morgan, singer of  Red Neck Yacht Club, has autographed the motor cover for the lucky winner.
