On his way to Alaska to tape his TV show, Tred Barta recently suffered a rare occurrence called a spinal stroke. He is currently paralyzed from just below the chest down. I've never been a fan of Tred always thought he was a little arrogant and careless when it comes to hunting ethics. (I've seen him take a shot at animals while on a full run about 80 yards away on camera) Which makes you wonder what he does off camera. Having said that, I have a new found respect for the man with his illness and how he chooses to keep doing what he loves. It can't be easy for him. I wish him the best, God Bless him.
