Pending world-record striper caught in Connecticut

Check out the full exclusive from our friends at Field & Stream

By now you've probably heard about the new pending world-record 81.8-pound striper caught in Connecticut by angler Greg Myerson. Well, our friends at Field & Stream landed an interview and exclusive photos of what they are calling "the most coveted saltwater all-tackle record of all time."

Myerson landed the behemoth off Westbrook, Connecticut on a live eel after a 20-minute fight, according to the interview. He also puts down a number of internet rumors that circulated after the catch - most notably the one where he had no plans to certify the record with the IGFA.

You can read the entire exclusive here.
