The CCA-NC Brunswick County Chapter Fishing Rodeo is set to be held September 14 thru Sept 22 at the Ocean Isle Fishing Center in Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina. The tournament is a Coastal Conservation Association benefit tourney.

The CCA is sponsoring the tourney in part to help introduce anglers to the association and hopefully inspire interest in building a strong chapter in Brunswick County, NC.

The tournament format is as follows: the King Mackerel Division, with an entry fee of $235 (which includes a one year membership or renewal to CCA), will pay 20 places; the Tuna/Dolphin/Wahoo Division, with an entry fee of $335 which includes a one year membership or renewal to CCA, will pay five places plus big fish calcuttas for each species; the Trout/Flounder/Redfish Division, with and entry fee of $135, will pay five places plus calcuttas.

The Captain's meeting will be held September 14 at 7:00 p.m. and will follow a free dinner and an auction event featuring tackle/equipment from many of the major manufacturers. All entry fees/auction items are 100% tax deductible.

The format of the tourney allows anglers to enter any or all of the divisions and fish any division any 2 days beginning September 15 thru September 22. Interested anglers should register for the tournament by 9:00 p.m. on September 14th. No new entries will be accepted after this time.
