If you are a boat operator in Florida, here is some important information. The Boating Safety Education law changes on January 1, 2010.
If you were born on or after January 1, 1988, and you operate a motorboat with ten horsepower or more, you will be required to have a Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission ( FWC) - issued boating safety education identification card.
