After spending 14 years on the Jersey Shore, The Fly Hatch, Inc. is moving its main store to Tampa, Florida. The Tampa Angler is scheduled to open its doors in mid-November and will be located at 8490 W. Hillsborough Avenue.
"It is very exciting to bring our shop to Tampa after all these years," said owner David Chouinard. "We have always loved the fishery in Tampa, and we look forward to building The Tampa Angler into a world-class fly shop. We are truly looking forward to growing this great sport with the anglers in the Tampa Bay area."
The Tampa Angler will feature all the top brands, and Chouinard said it will have a heavy focus on lessons and instruction, as well as destination travel.
