Editor and columnist, Steve Kantner, will be hosting another Lefty Kreh seminar - this time on Saturday, November 8th at IGFA Headquarters in Ft. Lauderdale. Seminar hours are from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and the group will meet in the Events Hall. Unlike previous gatherings - where the accent was primarily on fly casting - Lefty will address a multiplicity of topics that run the gamut from tackle selection to accessing various fisheries. According to Kantner:
"We want to make this more like a discussion group, where everyone interacts with Lefty. We've endeavored to make the surroundings as conducive as possible, while limiting the size of the audience. Lefty draws from a lifetime of personal experience, and he also plans to do some casting - if on a slightly-limited basis due to his recent injury."
The cost of the seminar, which is $350 per person, includes a catered lunch, refreshments, and study materials. Attendees can also expect to find plenty of raffles and give-a-ways. When asked to sum-up this latest event, Kantner stated:
"It promises to be the ultimate experience for anyone who wants to learn the whys and wherefores of fly fishing."
Advance registration is required. For more information, or if you'd like to reserve a seat, contact Steve Kantner at steve@landcaptain.com, or call him at (954)761-3570.
