Mark your calendars now.  The Islamorada Fishing and Conservation Trust (IFACT) will conduct the 3rd Annual IFACT Benefit on Saturday, March 24.

No costumes, no tuxedo's, just come dressed Florida Keys Casual to the Islamorada Fishing Club and have fun supporting IFACT.

IFACT is a public charity that exists to support and encourage conservation projects, including but not limited to the protecting, preserving and restoring of water quality, flats, marine life, seagrass, reefs and mangroves surrounding Monroe County, Florida.  Additionally, IFACT is committed to developing the future stewards of Monroe County's marine resources and recreational fishing through youth fishing tournaments, education and scholarships.

Proceeds from last year's Benefit allowed IFACT to award $24,000 in scholarships to Monroe County seniors majoring in marine sciences, give 590 rods and reels to needy youth anglers, assist over 400 kids in local fishing tournaments and adopt PKS science classrooms.

The Benefit will be conducted at the Islamorada Fishing Club.  It begins with a preview of auction items on Friday, March 24 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

The silent and live auction will be on Saturday, March 25 starting at 5:30 p.m.

There is limited seating.  Tickets are $75 per person, which includes all food and beverages on auction night.

This unique Benefit will offer original art, fine vacations, fishing trips, home decor, safaris and much more.

Call 305-664-4735 to make your reservations early.  This is a very enjoyable, informal, first class benefit.   You do not want to miss it.
