Hurricane Relief for Gulf Coast Fisherman Auction Wrap-up

The Hurricane Auction for Gulf Coast Fishermen, sponsored by Sport Fishing, Marlin and Fly Fishing in Salt Waters magazines, was a huge success. Read on for more details and how to claim your product if you're a winning bidder.

The Hurricane Auction for Gulf Coast Fishermen, sponsored by Sport Fishing, Marlin and Fly Fishing in Salt Waters magazines, was a huge success. Benefiting Guide for the Gulf, a nonprofit group dedicated to providing financial relief to displaced professional guides and charter operators, the auction ended on November 30, 2005 with approximately $40,000+ in moneies raised (final tally pending). The auction offered up over 200 products from 100 donors in categories like Fishing Trips, Gear, Books, Events, Collectibles and Apparel.
 
The sponsors and Guide for the Gulf are overwhelmed by the response from the recreational fishing community and graciously extend our warmest gratitude to everyone who participated in the auction, both donors and bidders.
