MARATHON, FLORIDA KEYS -- The 20th annual Faro Blanco Tarpon Tournament, set for May 20-24 in Marathon, is to combine three nights of good fishing with a year's worth of good works.

Money raised by the tournament goes to the Ronald McDonald Summer Camp Program, which provides for the special needs of children attending the summer camp program run by the Ronald McDonald Houses in the Delaware Valley, near Philadelphia.

The tournament kicks off on Saturday, May 20, with a welcome party at Key Colony Inn, mile marker (MM) 53.8 in Key Colony Beach. Cocktails are to be served from 6:30 p.m. with dinner starting around 7:30.

The drawing for captains is to take place during dinner. Anglers are to fish with a different captain each night.

A captains meeting is set for 3 p.m. on Sunday at Annette's Lobster House, MM 49.5 bayside, near 36th Street, in Marathon.

The first night of fishing runs 5-9 p.m. on Sunday.

Monday offers anglers free time to rest, practice or enjoy Marathon's attractions. Fishing is set for 5-9 p.m.
