Wednesday, September 02, 2009 - Clarion Corporation of America was given an award by J.D. Power and Associates for supplying the radio with the highest quality in the AM/FM/ Single CD segment of the 2009 Multimedia Quality and Satisfaction Study.
Clarion ranked highest in the AM/FM/ Single CD segment with the lowest overall score of 2.8 problems per 100 vehicles (PP100), significantly below the segment average of 4.6 PP100 reported (the lower the PP100 reported number, the higher the product quality). Customers with Clarion's AM/FM/Single CD Player in their new vehicle reported the fewest problems for ejecting and loading. The J.D. Power and Associates 2009 Multimedia Quality and Satisfaction Study measures owner experiences with the quality, design satisfaction and features of automotive multimedia systems in new vehicles. This study released on August 19, is based on responses from 80,930 owners of new 2009 model year vehicles.
