Ft. Lauderdale-based Allied Richard Bertram Marine Group (ARBMG), one of the leading privately owned yacht sales and service organizations in the United States, recently received a Marine Industry Dealer Certification from the prestigious National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) for each of their sales and service facilities throughout Florida. The NMMA is the leading association representing the recreational boating industry and members include more than 1,400 marine-related companies that are dedicated to meeting and exceeding customer needs.

The NMMA established a certification program for manufacturers and dealers using adopted standards for all key areas directly related to safety and customer and employee satisfaction. In order to become certified, manufacturers and dealers must comply with these specific standards and safety regulations which are established in the NMMA handbook. Certification requires documentation of processes for sales, service and parts management, with an emphasis on customer satisfaction and follow-up. The NMMA also verifies annually that all boats not only meet the minimum U.S. Coast Guard regulations but also the higher standards established by the America Boat & Yacht Council.
