NOAA seeks comments on a proposed rule to establish a rebuilding plan for red grouper in the South Atlantic - the public comment period ends April 30, 2012
 
Amendment 24 would establish a rebuilding plan for red grouper in the South Atlantic. Actions proposed in the amendment include: implementation of Annual Catch Limits (ACLs) and Accountability Measures (AMs) for the commercial and recreational sectors; elimination of the aggregate ACLs and AMs currently in place for black grouper, red grouper and gag; and other measures.
