Atlantic City International Power Boat Show Sets Course forAtlantic City Convention Center February 1 - 5, 2006

PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- The 27th Annual Atlantic City International Power Boat Show (ACIPBS) cruises to the Atlantic City Convention Center, Atlantic City, N.J., Feb. 1-5, 2006, featuring the sleek and sexy "The Boats of Bond" exhibit of marine spy machines used in classic James Bond films.
"The Boats of Bond" exhibit includes five fantastic creations spanning four decades of James Bond cinema, including: the underwater Tow Sled used by James Bond and villain, Largo, in 1965's "Thunderball;" the Bath-O-Sub used by Bond nemesis Blofeld in "Diamonds are Forever," 1971; Bond's Glastron Amazon Chase Boat from 1979's "Moonraker;" the Neptune Submarine from "For Your Eyes Only," 1981; and the famous "Q" Jet Boat from 1999's "The World is Not Enough."
The ACIPBS 2006 will showcase more than 700 all-new 2006 models of motor and express yachts, sport fishermen, cruisers and sport boats, with up to 65-foot luxury motor yachts on display.  The fastest-growing indoor power boat show in the country, the ACIPBS annually draws approximately 50,000 visitors, attracting boaters from up and down the East Coast.
The National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA), the largest producer of boat shows in the world, organizes the ACIPBS, drawing major international boat and marine product manufacturers and hundreds of regional boat dealers to the show.  Boats showcased at the ACIPBS range in price from $5,000 to $1.7 million.
Also enjoy the 95,000-square-foot "Marine Marketplace" - featuring marine- related services by vendors demonstrating the latest advances in navigational devices, engines and nautical gift items. Free boating and fishing seminars available. Twiggy The Waterskiing Squirrel is also scheduled to make a special appearance during the ACIPBS 2006. The New Jersey Academy for Aquatic Sciences will also provide touch tanks, beach creature exploration modules and biofact exhibits to the ACIPBS on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 pm.
