Accurate's drive to jam the most power into the smallest package continues with the introduction of three new BX2s — Boss Extreme two-speeds. Built for targeting big fish on braid, these lever drags have already undergone stand-up testing in Panama, Australia and Mexico on numerous species. The BX2-400 features 6:1 and 3:1 gear ratios, weighs only 20 ounces and holds 550 yards of 50-pound braid. The 500 weighs in at 22 ounces, offers the same gear ratios and holds 650 yards of 50-pound braid. The larger 600 holds 530 yards of 65-pound braid, weighs 26 ounces and offers 5:1 and 2.2:1 gear ratios. All BX2s sport the company's patented twin-drag system and offer 30 pounds max drag; they're built from aircraft aluminum and feature a beefier stainless-steel gear shaft and larger anti-reverse bearing than similar reels. The BX2-400 costs $569, $589 for the 500 and $599 for the 600. Call 888-ACCU-372, or visit www.accuratefishing.com.
